Effective date: August 12, 2026
SEO Stack respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use:
- The SEO Stack website at https://seostackly.com
- The SEO Auditor Chrome extension
- Registration, verification, and support services related to SEO Auditor
SEO Stack operates from Sadat City, Menoufia, Egypt. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@seostackly.com.
1. Summary
SEO Auditor is designed so that most SEO product data remains locally stored in your browser.
SEO Stack receives the approved registration and activation information required to activate the extension. SEO Stack does not receive or centrally store your general SEO audits, crawl data, Google datasets, keyword history, reports, rules, or backup contents through the registration service.
Marketing consent is optional and separate from activation.
2. Information collected during SEO Auditor registration
When you register SEO Auditor, the extension may submit:
- Full name
- Email address
- User type
- Country
- Website URL
- Company or agency name when required by the selected user type
- Optional telephone or WhatsApp number
- Optional job title
- Confirmation that you accepted this Privacy Policy
- Confirmation that you accepted the Terms and Conditions
- Your optional marketing-contact choice
- The applicable consent-policy version
- The installed extension version
After successful email verification, SEO Stack also generates and stores:
- Registration date and time
- A non-secret activation identifier
SEO Stack does not create a WordPress user account from this information.
3. Email verification
Registration requires a random six-digit verification code sent to the email address you provide.
Before successful verification:
- No verified lead row is stored in the dedicated lead table
- The pending verification code is retained only in hashed form
- Short-lived technical records are used for verification attempts, expiry, resend cooldown, and abuse prevention
The verification code normally expires after ten minutes. Attempt and resend limits are applied for security and abuse prevention.
After successful verification, the verified registration record is created or updated, and the extension stores a minimal local activation record.
4. Information stored locally by SEO Auditor
Depending on the features you use, SEO Auditor may store locally in extension-controlled browser storage or IndexedDB:
- Workspaces and website configurations
- Preferences and locale settings
- Search Console datasets
- Indexation observations
- Crawl and current-page audit results
- Google Business Profile data
- Google Analytics comparison data
- Keyword and SERP observations
- Local-grid results
- Citation imports
- E-commerce diagnostics
- Optimization records
- Reports, report history and exports
- Custom rules
- Backup and restore data
- Local activation status
This locally stored product data is not sent to SEO Stack’s registration database.
You can remove local data using available extension controls, by clearing the extension’s storage, or by removing the extension. Exported files remain wherever you save them.
5. Google API information
When you explicitly connect an approved Google service, SEO Auditor may request data from Google APIs for user-facing SEO functions.
Google information is used only to provide the features you request. It is not sent to SEO Stack’s registration database, sold, used for advertising, or used to build advertising profiles.
OAuth access tokens are handled within the extension/browser execution environment and are not sent to SEO Stack.
You may revoke Google access through the extension or your Google account. Revoking access stops future authorised requests but does not necessarily delete data already saved locally in your browser; use the extension’s deletion controls to remove that data.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Other external providers
Some optional features may send a user-approved request to a third-party service selected or configured by the user, including a supported SERP data provider.
Depending on the selected operation, the provider may receive information necessary to fulfil the request, such as:
- A search query or keyword
- A requested country, language, device or location
- A public URL
- Provider authentication information supplied by the user
Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. SEO Stack does not receive the user’s provider API key through the registration service.
You should not connect a provider unless you are authorised to use the credentials and accept the provider’s terms.
7. Website information
When you visit seostackly.com, the hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device type
- Requested page
- Date and time
- Referring page
- Security and error information
This information is used to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
If you contact SEO Stack or submit a service inquiry, SEO Stack may process the information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, message, business details and website information.
8. Cookies and website analytics
The website may use cookies that are necessary for security, page delivery, preferences and WordPress functionality.
SEO Stack does not use SEO Auditor’s locally stored product data for advertising.
If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are enabled on the website, SEO Stack will identify the active providers in its cookie notice or settings and obtain consent where required.
You may control cookies using the website’s consent controls, where available, and your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect website functionality.
9. How information is used
SEO Stack may use personal information to:
- Process SEO Auditor registration
- Send and verify the mandatory email code
- Create and maintain the activation relationship
- Provide requested support
- Prevent abuse and protect the registration service
- Maintain the website and registration system
- Respond to privacy or legal requests
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
- Send optional SEO tips or product updates only when marketing consent has been provided
SEO Stack does not sell personal information.
10. Legal grounds
Depending on the jurisdiction and purpose, SEO Stack may process information because:
- It is necessary to provide the registration and activation service you requested
- You gave consent, including separate marketing consent
- It is necessary for legitimate security, fraud-prevention or service-maintenance interests
- It is required to comply with a legal obligation
- It is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims
You may withdraw consent-based marketing permission at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
11. Service providers and sharing
Information may be processed by service providers that support the operation of SEO Stack, including:
- Website and database hosting providers
- Email and SMTP delivery providers
- Security and backup providers
- Google APIs when you explicitly connect a Google service
- A user-selected external API provider when you explicitly invoke that provider
Service providers are authorised to process information only for the relevant service and subject to their applicable agreements and privacy obligations.
SEO Stack may also disclose information:
- When required by applicable law or a valid legal process
- When reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer of the business, subject to applicable notice and consent requirements
SEO Stack does not share extension user data for behavioural advertising.
12. Marketing communications
Marketing consent is optional and unchecked by default.
You can withdraw consent at any time by:
- Using the unsubscribe option in a marketing message, when provided
- Contacting hello@seostackly.com
Withdrawing marketing consent does not deactivate SEO Auditor and does not stop essential transactional, security, verification or support messages.
13. Data retention
SEO Stack applies the following operational retention approach:
- Pending email-verification challenges and rate-limit information are retained only for the short period required for verification, security and abuse prevention
- A verified registration record may be retained while the activation relationship exists
- Marketing information is retained until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer required
- Ordinary abuse and security logs are normally retained for no longer than 30 days unless a longer period is necessary to investigate an incident or comply with law
- Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days unless a lawful exception applies
- Deleted registration information may remain in protected backups until those backups expire, normally within a maximum of 90 days
SEO Stack currently handles registration access, correction, export and deletion requests through an owner-operated support process. The extension does not automatically delete the server-side registration record when it is removed from Chrome.
14. Security
SEO Stack uses administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These may include:
- HTTPS
- Restricted administrative access
- WordPress and hosting security controls
- Hashed verification codes
- Attempt and resend limits
- Database-level controls
- Backups
- Local browser storage boundaries
- Exact extension-origin controls for the registration API
No electronic system is completely secure. SEO Stack cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. International processing
Some service providers or API providers may process data in countries other than your country of residence.
Where applicable, SEO Stack will rely on an appropriate legal basis or safeguard for international processing. Third-party services also apply their own international-transfer practices.
16. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Request confirmation that your personal information is processed
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion
- Request restriction of processing
- Object to certain processing
- Obtain portable information where applicable
- Withdraw consent
- Object to direct marketing at any time
- Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority
To make a request, email hello@seostackly.com.
SEO Stack may request limited information to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send passwords, OTP codes, OAuth tokens or API keys.
17. Data deletion and extension removal
Removing SEO Auditor from Chrome normally removes extension-controlled local storage according to Chrome’s extension-storage behaviour.
Removing the extension does not automatically delete the verified registration record stored by SEO Stack.
To request deletion of eligible server-side registration information, contact hello@seostackly.com from the registered email address.
Deleting the server-side registration record does not automatically delete files or reports that you exported to your own device.
18. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16. SEO Stack does not knowingly collect registration information from children under 16.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact hello@seostackly.com.
19. Changes to this Privacy Policy
SEO Stack may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, security requirements or data practices.
The effective date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes will be communicated where required before new processing begins.
